Troubleshooting: No Internet Connection

I have started the application and occasionally get the message "Please connect to the internet". 



The application needs a stable internet connection. Please contact your network administrator and ensure you have a stable internet connection for the experiment to progress smoothly. It could also be beneficial to use an ethernet cable instead of a Wi-Fi connection.


My login screen says "Please connect to the internet", even though I have internet as I can access websites via my browser.

Alternatively, the message says "The CytoSMART online environment seems to be blocked. Please contact your network administrator". 

Probably your network is connected to a Proxy server, hence direct connection to the service is blocked. Proxy configuration can be found in the application under SettingsSelect Proxy Configuration and enter your proxy credentials. The application will restart automatically. Contact Technical Support if you need further assistance. 


Furthermore, ensure the latest software application has been downloaded via download.axionbio.com.  


I have internet available and am not using a proxy server, but I still see the banner "Please connect to the internet".

Check if there are windows updates that need to be installed Download the required updates and restart the system. In most cases, this will resolve the problem. If not, please contact Technical Support.
