Troubleshooting: No Internet Connection

I have started the application and occasionally get the message "Please connect to the internet". 



Axis Vue requires a stable internet connection for uploading the snapshots to the Portal. Please check your internet connection and verify your internet speed with an online speed test. We recommend a minimum upload speed of 10 Mbit/s. Contact your network administrator if you have a lower upload speed. It could also be beneficial to use an ethernet cable instead of a Wi-Fi connection.


My login screen says "Please connect to the internet", even though I have internet as I can access websites via my browser.



Probably your network is connected to a Proxy server, hence direct connection to the internet is blocked. Proxy configuration can be found in the application under Settings.
Select Proxy Configuration and enter your proxy credentials. The application will restart automatically. Contact Technical Support if you need assistance with the settings.


I have internet available and am not using a proxy server, but I still see the banner "Please connect to the internet".

Check if there are windows updates that need to be installed Download the required updates and restart the system. In most cases, this will resolve the problem. If not, please contact Technical Support.
